Audi's e-Tron Spyder Concept latest installation in its series of e-tron concept cars? These three images have leaked onto the web and appear to show a Spyder version of the smaller e-tron concept which debuted earlier this year in Detroit, and since become nicknamed the R4.
Featuring a wraparound windscreen and no roof whatsoever, making it a permanent convertible, the R4 Spyder gets an identical front end to the fixed-roof e-tron, while at the back the bodywork surrounding the rear lights is finished in black.
There's no confirmation of what's under the bonnet, but based on the lack of exhaust pipes and the all-electric powertrain fitted to the hard-top e-tron concept, twin electric motors producing around 200bhp and driving the rear wheels seems likely.
