2009-2010 Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Stuttgart introduces a new Porsche 911 GT3 RS that delivers more engine power, has lesser weight, and has a shorter transmission ratio and higher standards of body and suspension elements. The new 911 GT3 RS offers what a car must need to be successful in the race track.

The power unit of RS is the same with the 911 GT3 but it displaces 3.8 liters instead of 3.6 liters thus delivering greater power and speeding up faster and more vigorously. Its engine conveys 15 bhp, which is larger than the 911 GT3. RS delivers a maximum horsepower of 450 hp, which means that the six cylinders deliver 118 bhp per liter each. This output is already a high figure in today’s natural-aspiration technology. This car remains appropriate for everyday use even if it produces much power. 911 GT3 RS also showcases its six-speed manual gearbox finessed for short gearshift travel, less weight and higher efficiency.

RS comes with a purpose built and specially fixed up for PASM suspension and has a wider track both on the front and rear axle. The cars aerodynamics is also improved with a much more downforce than that of GT3. This model also has exclusive features like it has an extra-large carbon fiber rear wing that is made of aluminum, the dual tailpipes on its exhaust system, and the special front and rear parts. This new Porsche 911 GT3 RS will be on sale in January 2010 starting in Germany. The price in euro with no value added tax is €122,400.

2009 9ff Porsche 997 BT-2

The 9ff Porsche 997 BT-2, based on the GT2, gives you a fully-equipped car suitable for daily use. It is now more powerful, has better performance, and with optimum aerodynamics.

The aerodynamic package is manufactured specifically for the 9ff Porsche 997 BT-2. The exterior is made of lightweight alloy and carbon fiber, which is essential to the overall performance of this car. The hood, doors, and roof are all custom-made for this car. The front lip creates an extra downforce of 70 kilograms at a speed of 155 mph. The rear wing adds a downforce of 90 kilograms for better traction. The 9ff Porsche 997 BT-2 has longer 5th and 6th gears as well.

2009 9ff Porsche GT9-R

With only 20 units produced, the concept 9ff Porsche GT9-R is most covetable. Each one is custom-built for its owner. The owner has free reign of how he wants his car to be. The über-enthusiast should really go over the most minuscule detail to make it really stand out.

The exterior can be fully customized to suit the performance of the car. Carbon fiber and Kevlar construction make the body quite light. There are two models available: the top speed performance and the track performance. Each model has a corresponding aerodynamic kit to ensure the 9ff Porsche GT9-R reaches its optimum performance.

The 9ff Porsche GT9-R has a specially-made mid-mounted engine which features titanium con-rods and forged pistons. It has a rear-wheel drive via a 6-speed manual transmission. There is a 5-speed tiptronic automatic transmission available as well, but it packs less power.

The interior has a 911 dashboard that does not fit quite well with this model. The updated version has a Cayman-style with an electronic control screen. Of course, being absolutely customizable, owners could have the interior as luxurious or as hardcore racing style as they wish.

The 9ff Porsche GT9-R is primarily meant for the racetrack, but it is street legal in Europe. Priced at over $1 million, this is one exclusive car.

2009 9ff Porsche GT-T900

Originally meant for the racing circuit, the 9ff Porsche GT-T900 was redesigned for the streets. It was designed to be the fastest Porsche on the planet. Due to some budget reallocations, the car was made available to hardcore drivers with money to spare.

The 9ff Porsche GT-T900 has twin turbochargers that give the rear-mounted engine an output of 900 hp at 7,750 RPM. This was intended for utmost reliability and superior performance. A special coated clutch is better for daily use and sends more power to the wheels. It is recommended to add a front spoiler and a rear wing to the car to achieve more downforce in the front and back.

The modifications of this car include a carbon fiber chassis, 19-inch magnesium wheels, high performance ceramic breaks and a ceramic dual disc clutch. A new suspension system has been added as well.

The exterior of the 9ff Porsche GT-T900 is painted a nice, race-car red. The hood and doors are made of carbon fiber. It is a two-seater with attitude.
